Immediate Access to Vital Information

  • Complimentary telephone consultations on 340B troubleshooting and implementation issues. The number of consultations depends on the membership level:

Enhanced Level:  Up to 10 consultations per year
Standard Level:  Up to five (5) consultations per year
Basic Level: Up to three (3) consultations per year (available to critical access  hospitals only)

  • Invitations to regular webinars and teleconferences on key policy, operational and compliance issues. These presentations are designed to educate pharmacy department representatives, senior hospital management and other interested parties within participating hospitals on the full range of 340B issues relevant to your hospital

Enhanced Level: All webinars and teleconferences are free!
Standard and Basic Level: Some webinars require a nominal fee

  • Strategies for reducing costs and improving care under the 340B program
  • Guidance on key compliance matters including government and industry audits
  • Regular information updates on 340B matters through our members-only bulletin
  • Free subscription to the Drug Discount Monitor, the definitive source for the latest 340B news and actions by Congress, federal agencies and states affecting the 340B program
  • Invitations to three-hour, regional Roundtable luncheons covering key developments in 340B with a special focus on state/local issues pertaining to the program
  • Guidance on inventory management/split billing
  • Access to SNHPA’s many online resources at www.snhpa.org, including members-only resources and instant access to other members through our listserv
  • Advice on patient definition questions/challenges
  • Guidance in developing contract pharmacy arrangements and pharmacy networks

Dialogue with Pharmaceutical Industry

  • Access to 340B contract specialists at pharmaceutical companies, wholesalers and Prime Vendor Program
  • Sample letters to contact industry or government on potential 340B overpayments
  • Advice on audit procedures and dispute resolution
  • Opportunities to work with industry on patient assistance programs, Medicare drug benefit, inpatient discounts and drug shortages
  • Meetings with manufacturers, wholesalers and government on troubleshooting issues
