Bonnie Weintraub is the Outreach and Advocacy Coordinator for Safety Net Hospitals for Pharmaceutical Access, an organization of more than 400 hospitals nationwide participating in the federal 340B drug discount program. Ms. Weintraub is responsible for assisting with the advocacy efforts of SNHPA’s member hospitals, as well as non member hospitals enrolled in the 340B drug pricing program. She plays a critical role in various legislative events that SNHPA hosts including legislative days and educational forums.
Ms. Weintraub graduated from American University with bachelor’s degrees in political science and sociology as well as a master’s degree in sociology. During her time at school, Ms. Weintraub served as an intern for Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro of Connecticut. In addition, she interned at various Washington DC policy organizations including the American Association for University Women and the United Jewish Communities. |
