Rob Recklaus is the Director of Government Relations for Safety Net Hospitals for Pharmaceutical Access (SNHPA), an organization of more than 400 hospitals participating in the 340B drug discount program. Mr. Recklaus is responsible for developing and promoting SNHPA's legislative and policy initiatives to members of the U.S. Congress and Administration officials.
Prior to joining SNHPA, Mr. Recklaus served as Chief of Staff and Communications Director for U.S. Rep. Carolyn McCarthy of New York. Mr. Recklaus was responsible for implementing all phases of the Congresswoman's legislative and political initiatives on a variety of issues, including health care. Mr. Recklaus also served as Assistant Director of Corporate Affairs for PowerUP, a technology based youth development nonprofit organization and has worked on several political campaigns.
Mr. Recklaus is a graduate of Illinois State University's Department of Politics and Government.
